Luxottica is an Italian company, with a global presence in more than 130 countries and over 65,000 employees. The Australian business has a focus on 3 leading optical brands: OPSM, Laubman & Pank and Budget Eyewear. The sun business has 2 distinct brands: Sunglass Hut and Bright Eyes.
Luxottica Australia came to UNO with a strategy for transformation to take the business forward to 2015. They needed an online solution to communicate this to employees across the whole group
UNO worked with the Luxottica marketing team to develop a journey concept which would engage with employees at all levels. We created a responsive online portal with an interactive roadmap, blogs, polls, forums and resources for brand champions.
The simple, bold design reflects the Luxottica spirit: energetic, friendly, forward thinking and fun.
The site was recently launched at a national conference where employees we're encouraged to access the mobile version and interact with speakers, providing feedback and taking polls. It has been very well received and user engagement has been strong.
