The Business Problem

Splash was a chain of 4 shops offering laser hair removal and spray tans in a cluttered, competitive category. They were resorting to discounting to fill their rooms. UNO saw a well managed laser skin care chain being marketed almost like a local surf shop; an innocent mismatch between a strong product offer, poorly presented.

UNO’s skilful adjustment of their market positioning, a fresh look and an integrated advertising plan fuelled appointments, increased sales and improved margins. Targeted media selection, reduced cost per lead by up to 60%. An online strategy and SEO delivered new leads for even greater savings.         

The Outcome

In under a year, UNO helped to transform Splash into a growing business. Sales rose to record levels, from empty rooms to waiting lists up to 3 weeks long. Splash subsequently doubled the number of outlets, all trading at higher margins, with higher sales value.
